"This is an average hotel, nothing more. It sells itself as an "all-suites" property, and thus raises expectations a bit, but it fails to fulfull them. The rooms are generally comfortable and fairly nice to look at, and the furnishings are tasteful, but the shower water pressure is below average, we found ourselves with fewer towels being provided by the hotel each day, and the "continental breakfast" leads me to ask which continent are they referring to? And if you're only going to serve (make available, I should say, as there isn't a hotel employee to be found) coffee, apples, and prepackaged, manufactured muffins, why is it only available for an hour and a half? On the other hand, it's located just one block from the St. Charles streetcar, so it was very easy to get to the various parts of the city. In any city other than New Orleans, it's quite overpriced. This isn't a bad hotel, but there's nothing special about it."

"Our frist trip to new orleans and i know that hotels would be high but i (charlie allen ) think that $200.00 was a little high. We had a good time in new orleans and went on a cruise out of there. When we come back to new orleans, we will stay on the outskirts of town. thanks very much: mr. mrs. allen"
