"When we arrived, the doorman gave unclear directions regarding where we could park, with the net result that my husband parked where he thaought the man had indicated and came into the hotel to get clarification. By the time he went back, he had been given a ticket. He mentioned this to the doorman, who just shrugged. I had to change my room because of a reaction to smoke. When I told the clerk that the second room also gave me a reaction, she told me that no one could have smoked in the room because they have sensors. I find this hard to believe."

"Overall I got what I paid for. We asked the front desk numerous times for extra pillows which never came. Also we were charged for long distance call we didn't make and front desk unwilling to do anything for us (it was only $5 so we just paid). Overall customer service not very helpful. The room itself was clean and satisfactory, so I would stay there again."

"My only real complaint was that the sheets were very 'scratchy'. The service used to clean them left them rather uncomfortable. Plan on wearing pajamas! The hotel was only 4 or 5 blocks from Bourbon St., nicely located for the money. If your interests were in the French Quarter, don't bother renting a car as you can walk just about anywhere. And if you really feel like taking a break, take a taxi - I never paid more than $6 for one. The airport's a 20 min drive - take the Airport Shuttle, it's cheaper than either a taxi or the limo service."
